Insurance only approved a one month time frame.  My surgery is now scheduled for March 29th.  I have so many mixed emotions.  I am really excited that I am finally going to be able to keep the weight off that I have lost.  I am scared to death of surgery - never had to have before now.  
I have been very careful not to gain.  I was 286 *gulp* last month when I met with the nutritionist.  That was my ALL TIME high.  I am now back down to 278.  I would like to drop another 10 lbs this month before I am banded.
Wow - just 25 days and counting!

I have been working toward my goal of being banded for almost a year. 

July, 2006 - I began my supervised diet.

November, 2006 - Found that insurance and hospital are not coming to an agreement.  The hospital will be out of network march 1st.

December, 2006 - Completed diet, however I couldn't schedule the psych eval due to psychiatrist having a baby.

January, 2006 - Psych eval - off to insurance.

February, 2006 - Dr. broke his arm (ARGHH) - insurance approved surgery - can't schedule before March 1st due to broken arm.  Surgery is scheduled for March 22, 2007.  I wll have to pay $6000 out of pocket if insurance and hospital don't come to an agreement.
