12/29 - Feeling great. Had my post op appointment and viewed where the band is placed. It is in the perfect position. Eating smooshie foods now and am feeling good.Can't wait to graduate to real food!
12/24 - Thankful for all the good fortune I am having with the band so far. i have been very careful to folow what the nurses and the office have told me. There were bumps, but me and my band are in this to win it! Merry Christmas Everyone!
12/22 - it has been a week since surgery and I am off to see a friend in the hospital recouping from lung surgery. I am up and about and not feeling bad at all. i am on protein shakes for one more day until smooshed food! yeah!!! just watch the port area, a little sore. Incision sites are itching, but they say that is part of healing. petroleum lotion is my choice in that battle!
12/19 - New prescription and hope to feel better soon. So far so good! back to work, but working from home to be close to my bathroom!
12/18 - Found out I am taking bad antibiotics which is not making me feel very good. Pharmacist didn't tell me they needed to be refridgerated. I physically am good, but inside is world war 3 with the bowels.
12/17 - Feeling like a helium baloon over the Macys Thanksgiving Day parade. More walking. The walking helps alot. Up to 7 laps around the pool. Feeling hungry and would love a protein shake right now! Just one more day!!!
12/16 - Feeling great... a little sore at the surgery site and bloated. Just keep walking. Doing laps around the pool! taking all meds and doing good.
12/15 - Arrived at the surgery center.... the staff was great, the medical team were warm, friendly and put me at ease and the surgeon was ready and so was I. They found a hiatal hernia and repaired it during the lapband procedure. In and out in thirty minutes. Felt like my last drive thru! I feel great and am walking to rid the gas feeling.
