The last time I posted was, well, 5 years ago. Sometimes I forget who that person was.
I went through the motions with Dr. Rupp's office and got cold feet. I just didn't feel right at the time. Then in November of 03, I went to Dr. Burleson's office, continued with my therapy, and got scheduled soon after. That time I knew I was ready.
I had an Open RNY on Jan. 27, 2004 @ St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN. In the ICU we found that I was bleeding internally and I had to have a blood transfusion. I learned that the doctor has nicked my spleen during the procedure. Dispite that scary ordeal, I have no regrets.
