Getting My Ducks in a Row!

Well, this has been an interesting process to say the least!  Trying to get appointments scheduled in the right order and get the insurance requirements done is challenging, but I'm up to the challenge!  :)

First I had an appointment with my PCP to discuss the weight loss surgery and diet options for a three month supervised diet required by the insurance company (BCBS-PPO)

Next, I had an appointment with the surgeon at Southwest Bariatric Surgeons Group.  Dr. Sherrod was great!  They informed me that the 3 month supervised diet is no longer a requirement for my insurance plan! Yippee!! Maybe I can get this done sooner than later!  I just need to get a letter from my PCP listing my previous attempts and fails at weight loss and his recommendation for surgery and I need a psych evaluation.

Whoo-hoo!  Here we go!
