Had the most scary situation to ever happen to me this past Friday 6/23/10. I callapsed twice at home, my wife called 911, rescue got me to the ER only to find out that I was severely dehydrated and my blood pressure was dangerously low 74, and lower number would not read. The surgeon did not explain to me that if I was on blood pressure meds I should have stopped taking them, the meds and weight loss caused my blood pressure to go down which caused me to collapse. I scared me to death. Was in the hospital for 3 days and still don't feel the best, my appointment with surgeon is this coming Thursday. I also don't understand that being discharged today, I weighed myself and gained 2 pounds, i'm really loss for words but I have to hang in their.

Well my surgery was Tuesday 6/15/2010 and it wasn't as bad as I thought. After surgery I was brought back to my room, I rested for a while then was met by my family. I was able to talk, laugh, sit in the chair and even went for a walk. The second day, i was ready to jump out of the window because of the pain, but all is well. So far haven't had any problems whatsoever and as of today, 6/19/2010 i'm starting to physically feel better. Will keep you all posted

Well its Saturday 6/12/2010 and my surgery is 6/15/2010. I really don't know what to expect but I have talked to a few on the forums and their info was extremely helpful. Just want to get this over with. When i started pre-op I was at 322 and am now 306 so thats a start.
