Dad's a loser now!!!

Praise the Lord dads surgery went great!!!
It took from 12:40 until 4:30 to do it but Dr. Bour wanted to take his time so he wouldnt have to open him up!!! he said dad was the toughest case he had ever had since dad is so "thick" with muscles and not just flabby fat.. i am SOOOOO proud of my dad!!! He was so scared bless his heart. We were sitting in the waiting room waiting for them to come get us to see him in recovery and we look out the windows and dad goes rolling by on the bed looking at us grinning and waving.. i was like OMG!!! DAD!!! i ran after him and they stopped and let me kiss and hug him real quick!! i was like "how are u feeling" he said "like $hit" lol.. i was laughing bc he doesnt normally cuss so freely.. but i know exactly what he meant!!!! His arms are real sore from being in the outward position standing up for so long.. they say it will get better.. dad being so hard headed and drugged up tried to get out of the bed last night by himself.. luckily my mom was in there and pushed the nurse button.. and they scolded him about trying that bc he about fell.. im glad that he can maneuver that well on his own though! i was shocked.. i am sooooo very proud of him.. i keep saying that but i am!!! he was terrified of this surgery.. as was i!! his sleep doctor had told him that if he ever had to be put to sleep that he wouldnt wake up.. and he was scared to death.. but he woke up!! :) PRAISE GOD! He was actually joking around with the nurse when she was asking him questions after surgery.. i was like wow.. i was passed out at that point! lol .. Im so glad its over for him!!! I know he is so relieved to be on the other side!!!! Thanks for EVERYONES thoughts , wellwishes, and prayers!!!!!!!! WE GREATLY APPRECIATE THEM!!! This is Rick's Daughter Jennifer writing this. i told him I would make him a page, plus it's easier for everyone to keep up with his progress by reading HIS page, instead of trying to read mine.. Dads surgery is Nov. 21st !! We are very excited for him. And Pray that God will take care of him! He lost 23 lbs last week on Optifast so im hoping he continues to lose until surgery!! It will be alot better for him if he does! i love him soo much and pray this is God's answer to our prayers!!! Thanks for everyones thoughts and concerns!!!
