"I was impressed with Dr. Mortensen from the first time I met him. He was recommended by my sister-in-law, who is a nurse. His nurse, Phyllis, is also wonderful. She's always been very helpful and never seemed bothered by my calls (which were frequent in the days before the surgery and again after I was home). I liked that Dr. Mortensen made sure I really understood what the procedure involved and that it was a lifetime commitment. He had me see a dietician who specializes in the post-op diet and gave me a lot of information to read.
