Tina, The waiting game is the roughest thing about the whole surgery. We've all been there and had all the same fears but just look at us now, we wouldn't go back to the old days of being miserable for millions of dollars and would have it again in a second. This surgery is absolutely the best gift we can give ourselves. Just sit back and enjoy the wait and then on to a heathier and skinnier life. Take care.

Sweetie, we've all been through the waiting game - be it for money or insurance approval - but once you get that approval... hang on tight because it's a wild ride! The emotional and psychological excitement will have you bouncing off the walls (although, that will be easier to do once you're a few months post-op) Hee Hee. Anyway, here's wishing you get your response soon and get a date even faster! Best wishes and (((hugs))).

i know what ur going thru Tina. I was not approved my 1st round. I have med+. But i'm not giving up. I am having my Dr. call them when i see him the 2 of June for a consult over the phone. If that does'nt work..then i will file aggreivance. I have a friend who has been helping me. I thank God for her. u need all the support u can get. Good Luck Tina..my prayers r w/ u .

TINA... Hang in there.. I have Blue Shield access Plus HMO. They approved me after the first submittal. Sonia is very thorough. Blue Shield actually provides a detailed list of items and criteria needed before you even submit your paperwork. It is almost foolproof... Dr. Coirin did my surgery too, on 4-21-03.. as of today I am down 46 pounds.. and feeling real good... I will pray for a smooth road ahead for you.. You will do fine, just be patient..It is worth the wait!! Now I must update my page.. after I mow the lawn.. Take care and good luck to you!!
