The Journey has Started

Today was the first day I could get an appointment with my PCP since I had decided that I wanted WLS. We went over my history and she seems to think I'm a good candidate. I told her the surgeon that I wanted to use.  So she is sending in the insurance paper for the referral and is making the appointment.  She was very supportive. I have been dealing with a sebaceous cyst under my right arm for a year now. She is making an appointment with a surgeon to have that removed. I wonder if that is sometimes a condition of obesity. Something else to research. One of my friends (Betsy) here on OH recommended a couple of books to me. The first "Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies" I had to run out immediately to get. I have several of the Dummies Series books and Love them!...HUMMM..I wonder if that has any significance? Any way I've almost finished it the for the first time. I will then read it again and start writing in the margins underlining, highlighting. and making notes in my journal. It's very informative, and I like the way it's written, even though it has all the technical stuff it is still a very easy read.  I don't know if we a limited on space on how much we can write, I guess I need to ask someone. I can get long winded. When I'm passionate about something. Also I'm not sure how much I'll be updating.  Blessings to All...Rose
