Hi Roseanne...it's nice to be recovering at home, I'm sure. Every day things are going to get a little bit easier...in every way. But, the first few months are difficult for everyone. No beating yourself up for ANYTHING, please...LOL! You've had a more difficult time than most, so take it slow. Congratulate yourself for small victories daily. Hugs, Joy

Roseanne, so nice to see you back on the board. I'm so glad you had a good day today! It's definitely nice to have a friend like you have to help you do things around the house, and to help you get in your protein and water. Keep up the good work!

Roseanne I miss your face on the message board! Hope you are feeling better soon. I had Lap and my savior was chicken broth, it was so soothing and warm.I did have alot of vomiting in the beginning, from week 3 thru 8 or so. There is a light at the end at 3.5 months out I am eating beautifully just relax when you eat and go slow and chew , even if you think you have chewed enough chew some more and swallow a little bit at a time. It is amazing how our tongues push that food bad before it is ready to go back. Hugs, prayers & blessings!

Dear Roseanne, please don't get discouraged. You did not make a mistake, believe me. You will get better. I know it's really hard at the moment. You have had a rough ride. I didn't have to have any drains so I don't know what you are going through. I did get some nausea. I was really careful and drank hot broth. The beef was the best for me and sugerless jello. You will be better soon. Hang in there. I will continue to pray for you for a fast recovery.
