Hello Rosie thank you for posting on my page. I don't know how it works for Blue Shield howeve I reccomend that if you have the hand book for them you start reading up on the process requireds o you could be more prepared. Now If you have any questions please do not heistate to e-mail me I will be more than glad to help you with anything as I would have appreciated help from someone local. 10-7-03 I had my first appointment at the Bariatric Clinic here in El Paso, and I had good information related to me. The nurse told me it would take about 3 to 4 months for everything to go thru. I'm hoping they will appove me becuase I have not seen any doctor about my weight problem, just listed the diets I have tried. I should be hearing from them soon.
