Ross, Have the Greatest Ever on the 15th!! It’s good to see more guys out here on Obesity Help. We make up a small minority of the people having Weight Loss Surgery, but tend to lose down quicker and with fewer hassles than the women due to Male Physiology. Drop by the "Men's Message Board" at- http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/men/ -to see how other Guys are doing with their surgeries. A lot of info and advice specifically tailored to Men. I’m just dropping by to let you know that there’s a huge crowd of strangers out here pulling for you and holding you in our prayers. May you have a famously successful surgery and a record-breaking recovery! Be nice to the nurses, Enjoy the drugs when you can, and most importantly, hurry home and start walking away from those pounds and into a new Life! Best Wishes-

Ross: Hello :) noticed you where from the same town! keep your head up and your eyes open. Don't get too nervous about your up coming surgery. Ross, I can not stress to you how important it is to have the support from your friends and family after your surgery. I thought I wasn't going to make it! but, my husband kept me going strong! and 2 years later I returned to the favor to him when he had his surgery! Good luck with your surgery.. and remember it is a tool not the solution. you must follow the doctors directions after your surgery to be successful. It's been 4 yrs for me, 2 yrs for my hubby and we are loving life:) god bless, Ronda F.

Congrats on your upcoming surgery. I know that you are probably nervous and anxious at the same time. Just know you are not alone, you are not the first to be nervous and you will not be the last. It is expected to be anxious, but it is a good anxiety. Take everything given to you in stride. Know that you have made a good decesion on the good days as well as the bad. Remember that you made this decesion for a healthier, better you. Believe me when I tell you the end result is WONDERFUL!!! Adrienne
