I was always an overweight kid. By the time I was 8 I weighed 122 pounds almost as much as my mother. The following year I was 167 and the year after that I was 191. I reached my top weight of 280 for the first time when I was 13. Thats also the year the facial hair started to grow. After entering high school at 14 I started going to the school gym with my sister I was able to lose 30 pounds. I maintained that weight through high school up until college. In college I lost 35 pounds and got to an all time low of 215. I was happy. I didn't know why but I would soon find out. when I was 19 I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Years later I would diagnise myself with PCOS and suddenly see my whole situation clearer than I ever have. I never understood my weight gains. I would eat once a day after I entered middle school because I was afraid to eat in front of others. This as you may know id what Sumo wrestlers do. Years of this all the way through high school left me with a non existent metabolism. After I was diagnosed with diabetes I was put on many many drugs. Ultimately I ended up on insulin and gained over 50 pounds in 3 months. I felt horrible but what could I do? I went to doctors and they said I ate too much. I dieted and exercised but never lost weight. I stayed between 270-280 for the following 7years.
