My name is Randy and I had gastric bypass surgery on July 2, 2003. I struggled with a weight problem all of my life, and at the age of 45 I decided that enough was enough and that I would rather die than to continue living the way I had been. Dr. Gibbs performed my surgery at Baptist Medical Center and the surgery went very smoothly without complications. Today I am still 180lbs lighter. My starting weight was 446 lbs. My lowest weight since my surgery was 235 lbs. I am active and living life now thanks to gastric bypass.
