I have been overweight all my life. I started my first diet at age 9. A friend of mine had a DS and I saw how it changed her life. I started researching WLS. I decided I did not want to alter my intestines. I searched and called a few places and decided on lapsf. After a consult with Dr. Cirangle, I decided on the VSG. My journey began with a BMI of 54 on 3/21/06.
