Drink those liquids folks. I am 25 months out and was dehydrated to the point that I had a migraine headache. The EMS transported me by ambulance to the nearest hospital. They knew I had a bad headache, but neither of us knew why is was so bad until I got to the hospital. Once they discovered that I had dehydrated, they gave me fluids through an IV. After the fluids got into my system, I was fine. So please...please...drink those fluids.
Went Shopping

I went shopping this evening and cried in the dressing room. I was in a size 10 at the beginning of this week. I had to buy 8's tonight. I can't believe how amazing this surgery is. To all the pre-ops...hang in there. Don't listen to the no's. Where there is a will, there is a way. I had the surgery and was paying cobra-serv on my bcbs of nc. I was fired from my job that offered the insurance and thought I'd never be able to have the surgery. I cobra'd my insurance and paid $270 each month. BCBS still approved me. Now I have bcbs again through my husband's employer and am looking for a plastic surgeon in my area. Until next time....God Bless!
Too Much Time

Too much time has gone by since I've updated my profile. I have to say that to date I've gone from 322 to 155. I started out wearing sizes 26/28 and now am in a 10!!!!!! Some of my 10's are getting loose and I'm getting ready to shop for some 8's. Gosh...I just can't believe what a blessing this surgery has been as far as my self esteem. I miss talking to all my OH buddies and since we've regained access to the net I've found more friends that I am blessed to have. I'll update better from now on. I realize how important it is to keep my profile updated so that people following my journey can actually see what this surgery has done for me. Thanks for reading....until next time!!!!
