It has been forever since I have been on here but as i write this I just want to cry...I had my first child july 21 of this year and it was a hard pregnancy. I bled alot and had an emergency c section delivering my little boy at 29weeks weighing in at 2 lbs 15oz. ..Today he is doing great, he is up to 6lbs 15 oz, he still in the NICU because he is still learning to suck from a bottle which I'm told is a big hurdle to overcome for premies...

I'm very depressed today because I gained 42 lbs with my son and now I'm stress eating again due to him being in the hospital and need to get back into eating right again. I could use some encouragement and tips on how to get back in the game of losing, it all seems so foreign right now...

ok so my one year will be dec 28th, this has been a year of growing and a year of frustration...Im a slow looser, I started out at 285 and this morning the scale read 199.6... Im happy and slowly learning to celebrate along the way..its hard not to compare yourself to others on here and see how fast others loose in months compared to my year..I love my sleeve, and I would do it again in a heart beat...Merry Christmas everyone..and a very happy new year.

OK ITS GOING GOOD STILL, THIS SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE...IM AT THE START OF MY 7TH WEEK AND IM DOWN 34LBS!!!

14 days post op and im down 19 lbs...its a hard road, i getting alot of bloating when i eat so im taking it slow and eating light for a while...

18 days till my surgery........just need to get through the two week liquid diet...

I have a surgery date......December 28th!!! Merry Christmas to me.....

 

FINALLY FOUND OUT I HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR SURGERY!!!

had my last appointment 3 days ago so now it will all go to insurance and i await an approval....keeping my fingers crossed and saying my prayers!!

ok, I have my last appt with the nutritionalist on Oct 7th and then everything will be submitted to my insurance...im so nervous it's almost to good to be true!  I keep praying for smooth sailing all the way and to be scheduled before thanksgiving..this is my only christmas wish this year--to be sleeved and on the road to a new me!
