Hi Shirley! I was laughing when you mentioned your surgery was coming up soon and you were eating everything in sight! I did the same thing before my surgery May 3rd. I even had a huge steak and baked potato the lunchtime before my surgery! I had food "funerals" for each ice cream flavor, Pepperidge Farm Cookies, Bakery Items and rich or fried foods I knew would not be on the menu post op. It is natural...I think they call it "Last Supper Syndrome". Enjoy yourself, but if you can walk a little...like up your street and back...please try to do that daily so you can be as healthy as possible for your surgery. Walking will really help when you are 1 day post op and they MAKE you walk up the hall...the longest walk of your life. I'm here if you have any questions or concerns. Shirley, I am so thrilled for you. I am Amy Lawrence's mother. We go to the same support group. I's excictied for you. Will have you in my prayers. Besure and come Monday the 20th to Gateway so we can celebrate with you. I will have Amy put you on her list. That way we will come visit. The Bless you!!

Shirley, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely.
