Hi Shirley! I was laughing when you mentioned your surgery was coming up soon and you were eating everything in sight! I did the same thing before my surgery May 3rd. I even had a huge steak and baked potato the lunchtime before my surgery! I had food "funerals" for each ice cream flavor, Pepperidge Farm Cookies, Bakery Items and rich or fried foods I knew would not be on the menu post op. It is natural...I think they call it "Last Supper Syndrome". Enjoy yourself, but if you can walk a little...like up your street and back...please try to do that daily so you can be as healthy as possible for your surgery. Walking will really help when you are 1 day post op and they MAKE you walk up the hall...the longest walk of your life. I'm here if you have any questions or concerns. Best wishes for a smooth surgery and fast recovery! HUGS from CT. KathyA :0) Watson (and Spike the Wonder Pouch!)
