I know I haven't been on here in a while, but I just wanted to say that I am living back in VA and I am in VA beach this time and Don't know anyone or a doc here yet. If anyone knows a good one here that takes tricare let me know. Anyway, an update on my weight loss, I am down 65 pounds and feeling great. If anyone wants to talk I am here. I also want to find a good support group if anyone knows one!

I looked on the tricare website today and it says I am approved for the lap band! I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I am waiting for the doctors office to call me so I am sooo ready. I just wanted to share that great news!

I have my final apt in the morning and they are going to submit my paperwork to tricare so everyone say a prayer please! I am so nervous, I just want to be approved. So wish me luck!

I am so nervous, my final appoitment is July 8th and I don't want to get denied. I recently just moved back to Florida and am going through Jacksonville weight loss center and I have tricare prime. I want to get approved so bad and I know tricare has a mind of their own. I recently found out I have diabetes I really hope it will help me get approved. If anyone has any advice then let me  know.

My name is Samantha and I am wanting to get the lap band. I have an appoitment on tues. the 24th to get a refferal. I have been overweight most of my life and I hate it. I have two little boys and I am a millitary wife. I recently decided to try for the lap band and this is a big thing for me.
