"I felt very confident with Dr. Newhoff. I wasn't worried at all. After surgery and every day I was in the hospital he came to visit and sat down to chat. He was very encouraging. But I found out that you MUST do everything he tells you to do. I admitted I didn't have my protein drink and I got "in trouble". Needless to say I went right out and got some. His office staff is very good and Weight For Life and his office took care of the insurance(United Healthcare). I haven't had to deal with that at all. There is a long wait to get surgery done. I filled out paperwork in Feb 2001,insurance approved May 2001 but I didn't get surgery until Oct 22,2001."
