A little accountability here...
Jun 10, 2014
It's been quite a while ... years... since I had surgery. I did great for about 5 or 6 months after surgery. Lost a good amount of weight, about 90 lbs. My doctor was happy with my loss and had told me that I needed to stop losing. I myself wasn't happy and wanted to continue.
I don't know if it was my doctor saying it was ok to stop or not...but I can remember the day I ate that first sugary item. It was a cider donut. It hurt to eat but once I got that sugar in my system again it was all over from there. The sugar addiction began again and I couldn't stop.
That was over six years ago. Now I have gained about 30 lbs and have struggled to get back on target. I tried detoxing one week with some program, a few days in I gave up and here I am again.
So today I try again... not feeling hopeful though. Any support is welcomed!
