Went back to the Dr. July 24th, 2008. To date I have lost 84.5 lbs..Dr. Allen says I'm doing great, but I am impatient and want to lose more......

WENT TO THE DR. THE 28TH AND I HAD LOST  27.5 POUNDS....YIPEE...I FEEL GREAT. I CAN WALK A LITTLE BETTER. I KNOW IT WILL BE A WHILE TO REACH MY GOAL, BUT RIGHT NOW I AM ON CLOUD 9 : )

Sorry I haven't updated yet....I have been busy with visiters and we had a death in the family...I am doing great though...I go back the 28th for I hope my first fill. I thought I would feel hungry, but i don't. Thanks everyone for the prayers. Even though I don't know you personally, I love you all....

FINALLY...FEB. 5TH WILL BE MY DATE.....CAN'T WAIT.....

Well I got all my test done and now I am waiting on medicare....They sure do take their sweet ole' time.........

Thought I had all my test done, when I went to the Dr. last week they found one in my file that I needed because of the h-pylor(whatever). Anyway it had been in there for 3 months!!!  Plus they never faxed my test results to Louisville like they were supposed to. They keep telling me I'm going to die if I don't have this surgery done and then they lag around like it is nothing...I don't get it.........I could have done been done with my surgery and all....Oh well, I go the 24th of Oct. to see a Dr. to run the scope thingy down my throat( oh joy). Maybe we'll get it going soon

I WENT TO THE DR. IN LEXINGTON TO HAVE MY STRESS TEST DONE THURSDAY THE 23RD. THEY DECIDED TO DO A BLOOD CLOT TEST ON MY LEGS...THEY SAID THEY FOUND ONE IN MY LEFT LEG AND PUT ME IN THE HOSPITAL... BEFORE I KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON I WAS GETTING CATHETERIZED. THEY DIDN'T FIND ONE THEN AND SO I GOT TO COME HOME ON FRIDAY....I WILL BE SO GLAD WHEN ALL THIS MESS IS OVER...I AM THINKING OF CHANGING MY SURGERY TO THE VERTICAL  SLEEVE  GASTRECTOMY....WE'LL SEE.....

Started taking the test I need for surgery, already one came back bad. Seems I have H-pylori, bacteria that causes ulcers. I have to go Wed. for one of  the heart test. We will see how this is going to go, I guess.....

Went to see Dr. Allen today, not very encouraging. I have to have 6 test run and faxed to him before surgery. I don't mind the test, it's the money that bothers me. No one will tell me what it is going to cost me and I don't have it to begin with. Oh well, life goes on......

Dr. Jeffery Allen's office called me yesterday and I have an appointment with him July 20th...
