Hi My name is Susan and I wanted to wish you luck, and may God Bless you, I too am a oct 14th baby and I use to live in Fresno seven years ago, I hated the fog too, our Home Church was Riverpark Bible church, Your words are an inspiration to me, if its Gods will my surgery date is 2-12-03 (Need prayer that my employer will let me have time off) I am coming back after a 2 mo leave of absence, I just wanted to say good luck and may you have a quick recovery !

Suzi, Congratulations on your surgery date!! I had my surgery at clovis Hospital too. They are really good. There is this one nurse at night is just the best. She is bossy, she makes you drink, and she makes you walk!! She is the one who got me up and going. SOrry, don't remember her name. She has long dark hair, and she loves to talk to you about her husband and her. She is a doll!!! I am so happy that you're having this done. I am now 9 weeks post op and feeling better everyday. I haven't weighed myself since over a month, but at that time I was down 40 pounds. I go back to the doc on Dec 23, and I will weigh at that time. If you ever want to talk, I am here. We are close neighbors, we could get together for lunch...hehehe small lunch! LOL Good luck and keep me posted! Sherra

Thank you Suzi for your reply regarding my concerns with the access skin I will probably have afte surgery. It gives me hope that maybe my insurance will cover the plastic surgery if I need it. I will definately use your advice if anything does happen. Congratulations on your surgery date and good luck!

Hello Suzi! Thank you for telling me about your family having good experiences at Clovis. It easied my mind. I love the Renissance Fairs. I can't wait to see your new costume for next year after having the surgery in Febuary. I wish you the best and hope you day gets here soon. Take care

My best wishes to you on your surgery. I hope all goes well and that you have a problem free, speedy recovery. I know it seems like a looooooooooong time until your time comes but it will fly by. I am glad to read that you are starting on your exercise now. It is a great idea!!! Start your water now too so that you get used to drinking all the time, it can't hurt! Look for a special msg from me and my sweet hubby in your email. We BOTH had open rny's in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs so far!! YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had surgery at Clovis on 08/01/02 by Dr. Edward Felix and was treated very well there. Wishing you a successful surgery and a speedy, uneventful recovery. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless...
