My name is Stacey, I am 33 years old and live in Bracken Co, KY. I have decided to have the Lap-Band because everything in my life is finally starting to look up and I want to healthier so I can enjoy it longer. I have a 12 yr old beautiful daughter named Jordan. In Oct 2006 I married the most wonderful man I could ever imagine, his name is Jared. Along with marrying him I gained 2 step-daughters who I consider my own, their names are Camryn, 7 and Brynn, 6. I have type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, depression, and am very much overweight.After lots of discussions with my husband we decided I would check in to the lap-band, after my visit with Dr. Thomas Sonnannstine I knew this was the right thing for me. I do not have a surgery date yet, but I am getting my tests done and my classes scheduled. I would love to meet people who have had the surgery or are going to have the surgery.
