well its been 6 weeks and 1 day and im doing pretty good.  i stay exhausted all the time but other than that good.  the sad thing and yet the good thing is ive lost 35 pounds and lots of inches.  the scales have stopped moving but my clothes are getting bigger.  i had my first fill on may 5 and he only put 2cc in b/c of the problems i had at first.  my 2nd fill is june 17.  i am hungry but i dont overeat and i have to eat VERY slow b/c it feels like it gets stuck and i do get sick.   thought i would fill all of you in

Well where do i begin~i left the hospital on saturday the 10th and i was readmitted on the 12th due to severe dehydration, vomitting, and swelling.  I ended up getting 4 dexatron injections for the swelling around my band.  Nothing would stay down.  I am still having nausea but no vomitting-Thank God!!  I have had many moments of regret but then i realize that this was a gift and i need to accept it.  I am down 33.3 pounds.  One thing that should have been done~we should have been warned about the possiblities of swelling and dehydration from the band.  I promise that this will be my topic when i am asked to speak at the support group. 

I am a new me already and i am so blessed to have my friend the BAND.  It is a journey and a new way of living.  Thank God I am better.

Im hungry now so i think i will eat my 3 bites for the day!!LOL

they kept me in the hospital for 2 nights~they put in the standard lap-band which holds 11cc and i am very swollen in my pouch~i cant keep anything down~the surgery went great and they fixed a small hienal hernia (sp) and i have a lot of gas pains in between my shoulders~i am faithful to my phenergan and lortab and mylicon drops~today is the first day i am able to really keep any fluids down (well at least for the last couple of hours)~ i am down 23.1 pounds total sice week b4 surgery!!  OUR LORD IS BLESSING ME CONSTANTLY!!

i started my liquid diet today and so far so good~i just didnt think i would get sick of broth, jello, and protein shakes so quick LOL 

i start my magnesium citrate and lovenox injections on Wednesday April 7.  Ive done laxatives b4 but this is going to be HORRIBLE!!!  I want to go to church on Wed but my body is in control of that LOL

So it will be Monday April 12 before I will chew again!!!!!  Never thought i would miss it so much

I started my liquid diet this morning~3 more days to go!!! I am getting nervous~I have such a great support group and my main supporter is my wonderful husband~Bubba!!! He loves me regardless of the weight and i sincerely know this.  My mama will be here on Wednesday and I am so excited to see her it has been since Thanksgiving.  She is a nurse so i am so comfortable with her doing anything to me.  She will  be giving me my Levonox injections (i am terrified of giving myself a shot in my stomach) I am strong and i will persevere!!! 

My faith in our Lord Jesus Christ has given me so much comfort.  Loving the Lord has brought me this far. 

All it takes is the faith of a mustard seed!!!

I went to my pre-op yesterday and that means i am very much on my way to a NEW and BETTER me!!! I was only done 1 pound but at least i didnt gain!!  7 days to go!!

well on wed mar 31 is my pre-op anesthesia appt and my final weigh-in~im getting kind of nervous but in a good way!! apr 8 is coming fast!

I had a dietician meeting today~interesting!!!!  i was also down 3 more pounds which makes it 16 total !!! YEAH!!!!

my lap-band surgery has been scheduled for April 8.  Im down 13# as of now.  Just praying I can hang onto that. 

i am going to the dr for my final visit b4 surgery on Mar 11.  I will find out my surgery date then.
