Greetings, Angel! You are only three weeks and a "wake-up" away now! I am looking forward to your big day (and I've taken to talking to the bari-bear you gave me for my surgery...he seems sooooo understanding, you know...). See you soon on "the other side," and have a smooth ride!MommaAngel 22 years ago
HI AMY I just want you to know that I am praying that you will have a quick and smooth recovery and smooth recovery to the losing side. LORD BLESSTeresa L. 22 years ago
Amy: congratulations on making the decision to have surgery. it is a difficult decision to make, and difficult for some folks to understand. i am two months post op, and Dr. Lin was my doctor. I feel great and often have to remind myself i had major surgery 8 weeks ago. i am almost 50 pounds lighter, and had an extremely smooth post operative course - i was back at work within 3 weeks. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you begin your new independence on 7-2. Good Luck, teresagwhisman6 22 years, 1 month ago
GOOD LUCK ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. DR. LIN DID MINE OCT 3,2000. HE IS GOOD. BUT LISTEN TO ALL OF HIS DIRECTIONS. YOU WON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. I BABYED MYSELF FOR FIRST COUPLE OF MONTHS. BUT I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IF I HAD TO. ITS WONDERFUL BEING ABLE TO WALK AND DO THINGS I HAVN'T BEEN ABLE TO DO MOST OF MY LIFE. SO YOU TAKE CARE ITS WORTH IT. GOD BLESS AND LET US KNOW HOW YOU ARE DOING. SMILES ALWAYS NOW GRACIErhondan 22 years, 1 month ago

New angel on the wing! Amy McSpadden is having her lap RNY surgery on JULY 2. I am her angel (at least, I'm trying to be, if I can figure out where in the world to click for that, lol!) For those who certainly don't want to forget Amy in the hubub of parades and fireworks (wait...those are for July 4? Not US?!), please do pop by her surgery page and wish her well as she counts down her pre-op days. Thanks and {{{Hugs}}} to all!About Me
