Well, it is Nov. 12,2011 and I got my surgery date yesterday. I was so excited I felt like a kid in a candy store. I know there is always risks in surgery but I was still happy b/c I have waited so long for this surgery. Since it is in Dec., Christmas dinner will be affected alittle but that will be ok. That's the whole point of having the surgery in the first place. As I go further in my quest I will add more. But for now I will CU L8R.
Well, I'm 2 months out and I'm feeling great. I'm 40 lbs. lighter and I can really feel the difference. I can't wait to get to my goal it seems so much closer now.The first couple of weeks after surgery were alittle rough. I was sick. I was frothing all the time and it seemed like I wasn't keeping anything down but I finally got over it. Now that I'm eating right I don't froth that often. Now I just have to work on taking small bites so my pouch doesn't get filled up so fast b/c I really don't like getting a stomach ache. Well, that's all I have to say right now. CU L8R.
Hi. It is 5 months out and I'm feeling great. I'm down to 172 lbs. with 12 or 32 lbs left to lose. I'm not sure if I want to be 160 or 140 lbs. Whichever weight I choose, I know I will be happy. I've already dropped down to XL clothes which makes me very happy b/c I was wearing a 3X. Well, I'd better go for now. CU L8R
Hi and welcome to month number six. I'm down to 168 and feeling great. I decided my goal would be 160 and if I go lower than that would be great also. I had to have my gall bladder removed a few weeks ago b/c it wasn't working right and I also had stones. It was alright until I got an infection at one of my incision sights. I was uncomfortable for about a week but my doctor took good care of me and it healed up correctly. Now I'm back on track with my weight loss journey. Well, I'd better go for now. CU L8R
Hello. Well, I'm 16 months out and I'm 100 pounds lighter.and at 155 lbs. I still have a hard time breathing when I walk along time but it isn't as bad as it was. I'm going to see a plastic surgeon on May 7th to see if I can get rid of some of this extra skin I have accumulated in my stomach and legs. I hope he can help me so I will look nice in my bathing suit this summer when I go to Daytona with my family. Well, I will keep you posted. CU L8R
Well, it's 2014 and I'm down to 145. I wasn't able to get my skin removed b/c my insurance wouldn't cover it and I don't have the money to pay for it but I have started working out at the gym and I've toned up so it's not that noticeable.Well, that's all I can think of right now. Ta ta for now. CU L8R
