WOW this feels good
Jun 06, 2011
New to this so bare with me. Surgery date was September 23, 2010so I am 8 months out. My journey began at my heaviest weight being 250# had to loose 15 to 20 pounds before surgery could be done. Surgery day weighed in at 232. I weighed this weekend and have officially lost 100 pounds since my journey began. This feels good but have noticed attitude changes in those people that say I am their friend or family member. I get called a walking skeleton, or told that I have loose skin and it looks bad WTF, why can't people just be supportive and be happy for me. I have not always been heavy, I weighed in at 97 pounds 5 children ago and 128 3 children ago, but life just got in the way of taking care of myself. It isn't like all my friends and family have never seen me thin before so why the different attitudes. I don't get it but I will cope and just keep moving forward. My husband and children are very supportive and nothing has changed there I am very glad of that. My husband even supports my decision to have plastic surgery to have all the loose skin removed and some area's firmed up. Well I guess I will write later. Have a good night everyone.
