I cannot believe that I am two months 'banded'. I praise the Lord for this new start to be healthy. I have lost 24lbs on my journey and a total of 66 from I decided to have this surgery. I feel like a new woman. I am down three dress sizes and others say that I look wonderful.
How do I feel: energized, happy, cautious and excited. I watch what I eat and exercise, especially when I don't feel like exercising. I continue to eat sensibly and not explore eating since my goal is to be thin and slim.

One Month and counting

Today is 1 month since I was banded. I am currently down 17 lbs and a size and a half...I am so happy with my decision to have WLS...........

I received my Lap-band on 8/22/08. One of the nurses at the hospital commented..."Now you are a band". No I said. "I am an individual living with a lap-band for better health". Thanks to this OH website and all the encouraging pictures and positive post that has been a great help. Keep up the good work all of you ( and now me). Serenty
