I have wanted this every since I heard about the LapBand Procedure/Gastric Bypass; I figured what better way to loose weight? After careful consideration I opted to go with the LapBand. Even though, my Mother (Mrs. Charlie Mae Foreman) died from a blod clot after she had her LapBand Surgery, in June 2000 I was still headstrong about the proceedure. My family had their difference of opinions but, I still stood my ground & on 3/18/08 I had surgery!!!
Although I must say I was very dissapointed at the weight loss numbers...then, I realized I was trying to pattern my weight loss by others....finally it clicked, I didn't put the pounds on overnight & they won't come off overnight! Whether anyone else can see the loss I can, & I am glad to loose 2-5 lbs a week. It will take me longer than some & it may be quicker than some but, either way I'm glad I had it & I ready to become the woman I used to be!!!
