Okay so my story is...I was always a rather thin child mostly due to malnourishment. We moved from our home in PA to CA under really bad circumstances. My parents both found really good jobs and so I think from neglect when we had regular food to eat my body would cling to everything I put in my mouth. When we came to CA I was getting ready to celebrate my 11th birthday and I was 5'1 and weighed appx. 70 lbs. by my 12th birthday I was 5'2 and weighed appx. 120 I continued to gain weight steadily and reached my peak of 278 lbs. I am now down to 258 lbs and have held steady there since 2007. I am an emotional eater and I have poor eating patterns. I want to start this journey with a sense of success and need to make partnerships with others who are doing it. Thats me.....
