I waited 4 days, and checked all three scales that I use at various places.  I am at a weight of 234.  That is 101 lbs from my starting weight!!!!!!!  I can't believe I have lost 101lbs in just under 4 months.  This surgery is the best best best thing I have ever done!!!  Now where the hell to I get that century card!?  LOL  Thanks to everyone for your thoughts, stories, and inspiration.  I couldn't have done it without my 2nd family!  Oh I also got my hair cut!  I will have to post pics tomorrow.

It's been forver since I blogged!  I guess I just get so busy doing other things.  I run out of time for everything!  So I had my surgery, Lap RNY on Feb. 25th, 2008.  It was the most wonderful thing I have ever done for myself.  I have lost 61lbs so far.  I go for my 6week checkup tomorrow.  I will have an official number then!  It's crazy, nothing fits anymore!  I couldn't look in the mirror and see the weightloss until last Friday.  I was walking in to work, and there are big glass windows in front of the entrance.  I looked over, and actually gasped at what I was looking at.  It was like I was looking at someone else!  The wows come more frequently all the time.  I struggle to get all of my fluids and protein in everyday, but I get very close!  I work out 5 days a week, and 2 of those days, I go in the morning, and after work.  I am not about to lose muscle and have nasty sagging skin!  I'm doing as much as I can to help it where I can.  I desperately need to update some photos!  I will try and do that this week.  Other than that, every thing is good.  As far as food, I hate eating!  I have only gotten sick on 3 things.  Shrimp, scrambled eggs, and chicken, once.  I havent had a problem with chicken any other time!  Who knows why.  Well, I will try to update more often!

So I'm back!  I went and had my psych eval done on Tuesday.  Things went great, and he gave me the go ahead!  He was great, I will use him if i ever need some ventage time!  I have an appt with my dietician on Sept. 4th.  Then I should be able to get in with my dr and see when we can get this bad boy scheduled!  Keep praying!  Im not nervous yet, im just ready to be on the other side of this hill!  My mother, aunt, and sister all had the surgery, and are convinced that I will be more motivation for them.  Im in it to win it!  They dont seem to want me to end up skinnier than them.. NEWS FLASH... its comin!!!

So its been awhile since I have been to the site.  I have made many changes in my life, including a new job, with much better benefits!  As it turns out, this insurance WILL cover the surgery.  I was required to do a 6mo pre-op diet with my doctor, and I'm finishing up month 4 right now!  I already have approval from my job to take the time off.  I have never been so excited.  Words of encouragement gladly accepted!  As well as tips you can offer!  Thanks!
