"Unfortunately, I thought that the nurses who cared for me really didn't care at all (with the exception of "Patti"). Even the day of surgery I was asleep and "out of it" but my family members all said how disappointed they were that no one even came in to check up on me for hours...immediately after surgery. It took a while for the nurses to answer call lights (all of them I noticed as I walked the halls) and some even seemed bothed by my requests for pain meds or other items. Once I complained, this attitude changed quickly toward me."
