"I had my VSG performed by Dr. Dutta in November of 2013 and have nothing but good things to say about him. He was honest and really upfront with me about what it would take to make the lifestyle changes that would help the surgery be successful, including making me lose 20 lbs beforehand and adopting the healthy lifestyles. He also informed me of the risk of transfer-addiction and told me I should just expect not to drink alcohol post-surgery, for life. I did not listen but wish I had. He seems to practice what he preaches with regards to healthy eating and exercise which is super helpful! He answered all of my questions and never seemed bothered by the many many questions I had, never seemed to be in a rush to get to the next patient! I'd recommend him to any one looking for a bariatric surgeon in the area!"
