My Name Is Sharron J. williams And I Just Submitted My Online Entry To Vista Here In Baton Rouge Louisiana. I'm A 33 Year Old Woman Who Love Life. IStarted Gaining weight When I Was Around 19. I Lost Twins (may they rest in peace) I Started To Use Food As A Best Friend. I have Tried Everything All Kinds Of Yo-Yo Diets. NOTHING WORKED. So About 5 Years Ago I Started Looking Into WLS. I Did My Homework But Got Really Scared. So I Put It Off. I Met My WONDERFUL HUBBY At 25 And Married Him At 26. We Wanted To Start A Family So I Went To The Doctor To See About Us Getting A Baby. After Testing And Testing Come To Find Out I Didn't Ovulate Due To Me Being Over Weight. So I Started my Homework Over And Still Was Scared But I'm Glad I Did This For Myself I Would Do It Again. NOW THIS IS WHERE IT ALL BEGAINS

When I First Arrive At Vista I Was real Nervous To Go In. My Husband Told Me Everything is Going To Be Well (thank you honey for the support i love you) Once I Walked In And Saw There Where Other People There To Get Healthy Just Like Me I Was Really Ok. There Was A Seminar That Dr. Bellanger Gave For Everyone Who Didn't know To Much About The Surgery. Then He Met With Everyone One On One To Answer Any Questions They Might Have. Once They Called My Name I Went A Got Weighed In (296lbs ) I Was Like I'm At The Right Place. The Dr. Was Very Nice And He Made Me Feel Very Comfortable And I'm Glad I Picked Him. Once All Of Our Questions Was Answered (me and my husband) I Was Giving A List OF Somethings I Had To Get Done.(lab work, internal dr., psychiatrist, nutritionist and a sleep study) So I'm On My Way

I Arrive At Sleep Solution For 9pm. After I Was Hooked Up To All The Wiring I Was Sleep For About 10:30pm. (for anyone who's thinking about having the surgery done please just pull your hair back because it's glue that they use) I Had A Good Sleep (thank god) And i Left Around 5:30am

Today I Saw The Nutritionist (kizzy) It Went Well She Was Very Informative. We Talked About My Goal Size I'm A 26/28 i Would like To Be At A Nice 14. I'm So Excited

I Saw My Last Dr. Today Dr. Vincent He Was Very Helpful And He Also Said That I Picked A Wonderful Dr. To Do My Surgery When I Returned Home Tracy Was On My Voicemail My Ins. Wanted To Know what Else Did I have To Do I Told Her I Was Done I Saw My Last Dr. Today. So She Said Ok What Date Would Y ou Like. (omg) i Have A Date Aug 1st. (thank you god)

I Got A Call From Vista To Schedule My Pre Lab Work It's On The 25th Of July I'm On My Way To Becoming The Biggest Loser.

I'm Sitting Here Thinking On How Long I've Been Struggling With My Weight For Some Years And About 5 Yrs Ago I Decieded To Look Into The Surgery But Was Afraid. Then I Gained More Weight. I Decided To Have This Surgery Cause If I Don't Then Just Maybe I'll Send My Self To An Early Grave. So For Me It's The Very Best Choice That I Can Make For Myself.

Well it's been almost a month, and i haven't wrote anything. i've lost 2 love ones in a 2 week time frame.(uncle & aunt) they where both really good people and they where behide me 100%. 'm going to miss them dearly. my time is at hand i have 14 days left before my big day. i'm so excited i can't wait to start living my life again.(all the things i use to do) i would like to take this time out to say thank you to all of you who have come across my page god bless.

I'm so happy today, i know that this time next week i'll be on the lossing side. i went in today to have my pre-op lab done. i was there for about 4 hours (7am- 10am) then i met with my dr. (belleranger at vista in baton rouge, louisiana) he was real nice and made me feel real safe so did all the staff at vista. however i have to see dr. vincent again on friday (psychiatrist) when the question was asked do i smoke i said yes. i have to go see him again to make sure that it's not something i depend on. if everything go well then my day is next tuesday (aug 1st) so i'm prayed up and i have faith that everything will be ok.

Today I Saw Dr Vincent (psychiatrist) and he cleared me for surgery. i am so excited & nervous i'm not scared at all i have faith i will be on the lossing side as of aug 1st. i'm so happy that i have a wonderful dr and his staff. i thank the lord every day. i have did my research on wls for over 5 yrs. and everything i could get my hands on i read, i listen, & i wanted to know. i have a real close friend of mine to have had the surgery and she is 3 yrs op and is doing wonderful. true everything doesn't work on everyone. but you won't know until you try. so again i'm stepping out on faith. i thank everyone who has sent me kind words and prayers god bless (MY BIG DAY IS AUG 1ST 2006 AT 7:30 AM @ VISTA HERE IN BATON ROUGE LOUISIANA)

WELL MY TIME HAS COME AND I'M SO HAPPPPPYYYY (LOL) UNTIL I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH ME SELF. I AM SO READY TO START MY LIFE OVER. I WANT TO SEE THE THE REAL ME. I HAVE TO BE THERE FOR 5:30AM AND MY SUGERY IS AT 7:30 SO THIS TIME TOMORROW I'LL BE ON THE LOSER SIDE. WELL I CAME HOME TODAY. AND I'M NOT IN ANY PAIN (THANK GOD) I HAVE SOME GAS AND IT'S TRYING TO MOVE. MY SURGERY WENT WELL VERY WELL. MY DR AND HIS STAFF WAS WONDERFUL AND I WOULD LIK ETO THANK EVERYONE WHO SENT ME A MESSAGE OR PRAYED FOR ME GOD BLESS. I'LL BE BACK IN A FEW WEEKS. HELLO EVERYONE I'M DOING VERY WELL. I WENT TO THE DR. ON YERSTERDAY AND I'VE LOST 46LBS SO FAR (THAT'S A WONDERFUL BLESSING) I'M ALWAYS COLD NOW I ASKED MY DR. ABOUT IT AND HE SAID THAT, THAT'S ONE OF THE THINGS THAT HAPPEN. SO I ALWAYS HAVE WARM THING'S ON. THIS HAS BEEN A WONDERFUL TEST FOR ME. THE 46LBS I'VE LOST HAS GAVE ME MORE WILL TO KEEP GOING. IF I HAD TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN I WOULD. SOME OF MY SO CALLED FRIENDS SAY I TOOK THE EASY WAY OUT. MY FIRST IMPRESSION WAS HE SEEM NICE, AND I WAS RIGHT HE WAS ALSO VERY CONCERNED HE MADE ME FEEL VERY GOOD ABOUT MYSELF. HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME AND MY HUSBAND. HE TOLD ME THE GOOD THINGS ABOUT WLS AND THE BAD SO FOR THAT I LOVE THE MAN.RIGHT BEFORE MY SURGERY I HAD TO GO BACK TO SEE ONE MORE DR. BECAUSE I TOLD HIM THAT I SMOKED AND I UNDERSTAND THAT HE REALLY CARES FOR HIS PEOPLE. SO FO RANYONE WHO'S DECIDING TO MAKE HIM THERE DR. When I first applied online it was March 9th and on March 10th, Tracy from vista here in Louisiana emailed me back saying that my insurance company did offer weight lost benefits (thank god) what I didn't know was that it covered 100%. So I'm thanking god again. I went to my last doctor appt. on Friday the 6th of June. And when I returned home Tracy was on my voicemail saying my insurance wanted to know my surgery date. So my experience with my insurance company went well. The only thing i would recommend someone who's thinking about having this surgery is to ask questions.
