The Never Ending Story

October 1, 2010- So much has happened in my life since I first started this journey. It is amazing to go back and read my journal entries and see my pictures after so much time has passed.
Many many things have changed in my life besides just my weight. I ended up getting divorced in 2004. I was in a very abusive and unhealthy relationship and finally woke up to it! I was remarried to a wonderful man in June 2009. I am so much happier. We have 8 children in total. I have six children of my own (Emily 15, Amanda 13, Garry 11, Thomas 9, Jacob 7, Owen 5,) and I also have two beautiful step children (Nathan 5, and Ayriana 4)
I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, but we relocated to Western Oregon in the summer of 2009. Partly, to get away from my ex husband who was still harassing me.
Right now, I am a stay at home Mom who is focusing on opening my own used bookstore in this little town we moved to where the closest bookstore is almost 30 min away. My husband is a carpenter, but was laid off due to the economy last year and since has suffered an injury that makes him unable to work.
Things haven't always been easy, but overall we are super happy.
My lowest weight was achieved in 2004 at approx. 135 lbs. ( I looked more like 100 lbs. though!) I then got pregnant again, and had my last child in 2005. I ended up regaining some of my weight back (about 40 lbs.) and have since been struggling with those same 40 lbs. since! I yo-yo back and forth constantly. As of late, I have been thinking about getting a revision done, because it seems like I can eat so much more than I used to be able too...and I am just scared that all the weight may one day return. My highest weight was 310 lbs. I now weigh about 175 give or take. I am not real happy about that....so I am always working on losing. Anyway....I just wanted to reconnect with a support group and see what happens. I
