"When I first met Dr. Tishler he made me feel very good and comfortable. I knew I had made the right choice. His assistant Nina is wonderful and very helpful with answering questions and concerns. He tells it like it is; doesn't sugar coat it it at all. Yet he does it in a manner that won't scare you off. I would rate him a top notch surgeon so far and urge anyone in the Hartford, CT are interested in considering the WLS to go and see him.rnrnUpdate 11/10/2006-I am one visit away from going to insurance for approval. I have had to go to the Nutristionist for 6 months straight but next Tuesday will be my 6th and final visit. It has been a long haul but will, in the end, be well worth the wait.rnrnUpdate 1/15/2007-I have been approved and I should be going for surgery on the 29th of January BUT I had to postpone due issues with my right eye and blown blood vessels. I need to wait and see on that first and then I will reschedule with him.rnrnUpdate 6/9/07-IT IS DONE, surgery was done on the 4th of June.
