Still living the dream, but have now gained back 60 lbs!!!! I made a vow to myself to never gain it all back again, but if I do not change my ways...it will all lead me back there again.  I am determined to not let this happen. 

Looking for inspiration and motivation to get back on track...My husband is very loving and supportive, but I think in a way, that has created a sense of complacency...Not that I am blaming him whatsoever...It is all about me.

Happy New Year- new attitude! :)

Still the best thing I have ever done for myself.
My focus is on my life and not my weight.
Sure I haved gained about  20 lbs over the past couple of years, and I am not skinny model material...
But I never wanted that.
I just wanted to feel normal and not like a freak.
I wanted to live to watch my grandchildren grow up; which BTW my daughter is now 5 months pregnant with
my grandson, William.  Crazy and Wonderful all at the same time. My mother never lived to see either of my great kids, now adults themselves.
I am not about to watch life pass me by!
Whether it's walks in the park, climbing a mountain, white water rafting or snowboarding, I am up for it.
Thanks to the decision I made 3 1/2 years ago to shed the extra weight and jump into the world of the living!

I've lost a total of 240 lbs. ...Since November I have hit the plateau...I am not done yet!  I still want to lose another 40 lbs...

But ... The quality of my life has improved 120%... I am still a big advocate of the surgery.  Best thing I have ever done for myself...in turn, I am better for my family and friends.

News Flash! 
I am getting married!! Life couldn't be better. And I will be healthy enough to be around and enjoy it for awhile!!!

Now nine months and less 160 lbs. later, I must say that I feel like the luckiest girl in the whole wide world to have this opportunity to have a whole lease on life!  Dr. Snyder and his team are the very best!  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SURGERY TO ANYONE WHO FEELS LIKE THEY HAVE RUN OUT OF OPTIONS!  There are definately options!   I have never had any complications! Now the only complication is finding something to wear, because everything is so big and I hate to buy new clothes that will only fit temporarily...believe me, I can deal with this sort of problem! :) I get so many compliments from friends and loved ones.  I go out dancing all the time now.  I have tons of energy and I have met lots of really nice guys!!!
