I have been a member of ObesityHelp.com since 2000. I was originally scheduled to have surgery in March 2000, but, well, basically had second thoughts. After that I went on the Zone diet for the next year and lost over 100 pounds. 9/11 hit, I got divorced, my job went to heck, and I gained all the weight back and more. In 2003, I met a new man who is the love of my life. We were married in 2004. He has twin girls that are absolutely adorable and for the first time in my life I have little kids to keep up with and I found it impossible. This year I also turn 40 which also became kind of scary when I started thinking about all the health problems that I am going to soon face with my size. So for the kids, for my love, and most of all for me, I decided I had to do something to keep this weight off for good.
On 05/07/07, I had RNY surgery.......
