WOW, where did a month go. Actually I moved to Scottsdale, AZ 9 days ago.....so now you know where and what I'v been doing. Hope that everyone is doing well, can't wait to catch up on everyone.
WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 months 3 weeks post-op, a Total of 80# Gone forever. 314 to 234, what a wild ride. Hope to get off another 70#, but it will be all bonus from here on. I feel GREAT, am off over half of my meds. Walk 1 1/2 miles twice most days. I can finally physically go back into nursing. WOW Just waiting for my permanent AZ license. Will keep you updated on the work in progress......Life is GOOD.

OOOPS how time flies. Hehehehe, seems like it now. But as we all know I never would have said that when I was working on getting approved. And waiting for my surgery.
Down 65#, next monday will be my 3 mo post-op appt. Measured a couple of weeks ago, and had lost 30+ inches. So happy! I started walking a mile & 1/2 twice a day today. WOOHOO.
Feeling Great, looking forward to my new life.
For the newbies, and those waiting to cross over HANG in There, it gets better and better.......

It's a beautiful day here today. I'm up to walking 1 mile twice a day, which is awesome. Considering where I started when this journey began. I was walking a little less then a 1/4 of a mile once a day and was TOTALLY winded and wiped out.
I am having one problem however, constipation. I'm getting in all my fluids, and eating what I should. Need to find out where others are getting the smooth move tea. Have been unable to find it at any of the stores around here.
Hope to get new pics on soon since my last ones were from 1 mo, and I'm now 2 1/2 months post op.

It's finally getting back to spring here which is great. I'v been walking twice a day most days. And am up to 3/4 mile each time. It appears that the stubborn scale is starting to cooperate and is dropping again. YAHOOOOO I'm now down to 256# Don't really have any complaints, except when the weather is bad and I can't get out and walk. lol Hope everyone else is having a great week.

WOOHOO, Scale finally moved again this morning. I'm now down 53# It's got beautiful again here and am out walking again so that should help. Hope your all having a great beginning to your week.

Well, wish I could say that I'v lost more weight...but haven't seen the scale move for almost 2 weeks. I Have lost more inches, I'm up to 22 1/2 inches lost so far total, so that is good. It's been really cold here the last two weeks and I haven't been able to force myself to go out side and walk. Live in the country so no place close (30 miles) that I can go walk inside. Have to start doing my CD that I got recently in the house I guess. Hope everyone is doing well.

Had my 6 wk follow up vist yesterday. WOO HOO, I'm doing good, Dr Sudan was happy, and the nutritious said everything going great. Even tho I did start my stage 4 diet a little ahead of schedule. She said as long as I'm tolerating it, ok but to go slow and chew chew chew.
Dr Sudan didn't think that the problem that I had over the week-end and monday was from a stricture even tho he said they can happen this soon. Told me to just keep track and if it seems to be happening more to let him know and they will scope me to check. I'm happy to say so far hasn't happened again soooooo maybe not.
OK I'm down 50# now. happy dance happy dance, of course 13# were pre-op but I couldn't be more thrilled. Ask him how long I can expect this wt kind of wt loss and he said 6 - 9 months. WOW, I think I'll stop before I become another Twiggy LOL for those of you who even remember who she was. Hope everyone is doing well and having a great week.

Starting to worry a little that I might have a stricture. Had problems this morning when I took some of my pills with my protein drink. Pain and foamies. See my surgeon on Wed the 28th so see what he says then. Have a call out to his nurse also, but think I'll stay pretty close to just liquids until I see him. Will be interesting to see how my evening pills go down. Hope everyone is having a good week.

Things have been going pretty good. Starting to loss wt again, which I'm very happy about. 43# total now. 30# post-op 1 mo 4 days. 13# pre-op. Hope everyone is having an awesome week-end.

Well today is officially 1 month post-op. I'v lost 13 3/4 inches, and 39# total with 26# post-op. Hopefully will have 1 month pics on yet today. Feeling good, haven't had any problems with eating so far. But only have liquids, cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, and haven't tried eggs yet. So wonderful to have some foods again. Will try and keep you updated on how everything is going.
