My story is pretty simple and probably alot like what others have experienced. I was a heavy baby which turned into a chubby kid. From there I just kept adding on the pounds and became an obese teenager. I always had problems doing what "normal" people were doing. Growing up was hard not being able to ride any roller coasters with your friends, not being able to keep up with everyone when we played sports, etc. I still feel like I have been blessed in all other aspects of my life though. God has been with me through it all. I have been married for almost four years. We are caring for a foster child right now as well. I have loving parents who support me through everything I do. A lot of my family has dealt with weight issues and I am taking a step forward and hopefully being a role model for others. I have always put everyone else's needs before my own, which is maybe one reason I'm in this situation right now. I have tried the diets, but like a lot of others, lost a little weight but then gained it all back plus some.
My RNY is scheduled for September 3, 2009. I can't wait! I love talking to new people and sharing life's experiences. Send me a message sometime.
