"Dr. Balder is great. I'm one of those people who ask a lot of questions and Dr. Balder was willing to discuss the topic until I was satisfied. Dr. Balder and his partner Dr. Anderson have more experience in lap band than anyone in SC. I have to travel from Charleston to Conway, but the time was really worth it. It was also $6000 less expensive than the local hospital. (MUSC) Dr. Balder has a great office manager, BJ, who is very organized and detail oriented. Since I was self pay and lived more than 60 miles away, they put me up at the local Holiday Inn so I could be close in case I had a problem. It saved me the over night hospital visit.
