"I had some complications and had to spend 4 days in ICU, which was pure hell because of the noise level of the nurses and staff. They make no attempt whatsoever to lower their voices, etc. They constantly are blabbing about their personal lives, yelling down the hallways to each other, all the while very sick people are trying to sleep around all this. I finally complained so much that just to shut me up they moved me to a private ICU room, which was much better. However, I will say that the care I received in ICU was EXCELLENT. They really took good care of me! May stay in the regular room in 2 South was also very good."
"'Dr. Johnsrud was very personable and extremely encouraging as far as me being successfull with my weight loss after the surgery. He told me I will not have to live the rest of my life overweight. His office staff (Taylor was the only one I met) was very nice and very informative. It seems that the program they put you through prior to surgery is very necessary and certainly for the benefit of the patient. We really did not go over the risks of surgery in detail"
