About 5 years ago my wife had Lap band surgery. from the start we found the band was very difficult to deal with because the lap band port kept twisting and the port had to be replaced. At this point the band was leaking. The fill could not be made. And during this time frame we were making trips back and fourth to Dallas from Oklahoma. The lap band continued to have problems and we decided to have the Gastric Byass.
