Tony, it so nice to see you had such a smooth time with your surgery. I am so glad I read your profile as I am having surgery in 7 days and it helped me to feel better about it. Congratulations and I hope you continue to have a speedy recovery!

Hi Tony. Thanks so much for your words of encouragement. Only 4 more days until my surgery and i must admit i am so nervous. I read your profile and it sounds like you did beautifully which really helped to calm my fears. Thanks again.

Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).
