Hi Guys,

In late April I had some issues with the band yet again. Apparently I had a  piece of meat lodge into my band..it finally passed but when it did it caused some swelling...after 3 days without water I went to the ER in St. Louis. They emptied my band. For a month I had no restriction...gained about 10lbs back b/c I was totally  bummed. At the first of May I got 6CC's back in my band. I have some restriction..but I have not been losing b/c I haven't been on track..So today is the day for me to start again. I need some encouragement....help me! LOL.

Well...Here I am ..on Friday night..bored..lol. I hope that changes soon. I'm still doing pretty well. I go back to Dr. Wagner on the 3rd of March for another adjustment. It is so working for me. I can't tell you how excited I am. I can't wait until May..when I'm smaller..its my birthday...summer...New clothes..I just can't wait. I bought a Wii today and just ordered the Wii Fit and board..or whatever it is. Hopefully it will motivate me a bit. I had some salad today, cup of coffee, slice of turkey and piece of cheese..I'm sipping water now. Tomorrow will be even brighter!

Yesterday I did great! I cleaned my whole house....I had a cup of protein shake for breakfast. About 3-4 bites of cottage cheese for lunch. For supper I had a scrambled egg and a piece of cheese. Later I had a glass of tea. I am so happy that this is going better for me. My insurance pays on nothing for the fills so its all out of pocket; but worth every penny. Have a great weekend everyone.

Since last year I was working in Pennsylvania I didn't have a physician in network to continue seeing and having fills. Now that I am back home in Missouri I can start over. Yesterday I had my second fill at Dr. Wagners office. Thank God I get another chance. I had almost given up hope. I am recommitted to this and will make it work for me. I will start today keeping a log on what goes in my mouth! Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

Wednesdays Menu:
1 Cup of Coffee
1 Glass of Protein Shake

1 cup of soup and stars (soup at hand)
1 piece of cheese

3 Tbs Chicken breast ground up
1 piece of cheese

 

Well...On Monday I called the doctor because I just got back from Pennsylvania and now my port site is infected. I have to take some strong antibiotics and pack the incision since he opened it up. I go back on the 9th of October for my first fill...that is if it's healed!!! I hope so..fingers crossed!! :)

Today was  a rainy and uneventful day. Since I work from home it takes a lot for me to be inspired at times. LOL. I had my couple of meetings...I didn't each hardly anything today b/c I felt full for some reason. Then this evening I walked about 1-1/2 miles....it was nice. A great way to clear the head. I enjoyed it. Tomorrow I will start my workout with a dear friend of mine. Hopefully she can help me push through. I leave for PA on tuesday and won't be back until the following saturday for work. We'll see how all this goes on the road...hopefully my hotel room will have a refrigerator...lol. So I can take some scooby snacks with me...lol. Well I will weigh in again sunday..and do another timeline photo...wish me luck!!!!

SO today is my one week out from surgery and I'm doing great! I have lost 16 lbs and I feel great and I'm ready to keep going. I go back to see Dr. Wagner on Wednesday and hopefully he tells me I'm doing as great as I feel! I want to start walking more even though I have already been to the casino this week and the mall...I know I'm doing more then I should be...but I feel okay..so why not? I'm so glad I did this...can't wait for more to come!

My lap band surgery is scheduled for August 27th at 8:30 in the morning!
I am so stoked..I cannot wait to start my life... The best news I have had in a long time!!!!!! Please pray everything goes well and that I have a quick recovery!!  Does someone want to be my angel?  I need one!!..
