Luis Gorospe

"Dr. G is my surgeon, but was not at the beginning of my journey!! Attended a seminar on 11/2002 at Baylor with about 400 other people in a huge auditorium. It was very informative and nice, very committed physician, Dr. McCarty stayed late and answered many questions. Be aware that Baylor is way too big and understaffed for the volume of bariatric patients wanting to get surgery there. If you have BCBS-and choose Baylor in Dallas-be aware that you may wait for a long time. As of Feb/2003, I changed and I moved to Dr. Gorospe in Tulsa due to the changes Baylor made regarding BCBS patients and money that must be paid of of pocket for unknown reasons. Dr.Gorospe in Tulsa(where I'm from) performed my surgery with great success. He is very face to face and cares about his patients and hosts montly meetings for support and follow up care. He visited me personally on day 2 and sent me home as I requested because I was doing so well. I'd choose him again in a second."
