I got all my paperwork into the WL center!!!!!

I have an appointment for a WLS education seminar on Sept 25th at Frye Medical Center.  I really wish it were sooner!!!  I have to wait until after my seminar before I can see my surgeon.  I scheduled my psych eval the same day as the seminar which is great concidering I have a 4-5 hour drive to get there (Hickory, NC).  Thank God for my husband...he's the BEST!  I told him that they said that he will have to come with me, and he said whatever we have to do, we will just do it!  
So, now I have to mail in my records of 5 years of weights, thyroid test and a physical within the last year along with my drs referrel(appt 8/16).  Then everything can start to move forward.  The girl at the surgical center said I was "borderline" for WLS! Please keep me in your prayers!!  I'm not stressing about it.  I have to learn to just leave it up to God....If He wants it for me, IT WILL HAPPEN!

I am new to OH and I'm really loving all the info and the different experiences everyone is sharing here on the site.  I was recommended to this site by my friend, Nanc, who had her LB surgery July 27th..THANKS NANC!!

I am in the process of getting all the things done to get approval from my insurance.  I had to have 6 months worth of MD supervised WL appointments.  I was member of LA Weightloss for 8 months and I faxed them all of those records and they accepted them in place of the 6 month MD visits!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank GOD!!!  The next step is to have my thyroid checked and a current weight and height , 5 years worth of weights from the dr, and a letter of recommendation from him.  Then we will go from there!  I'm just praying that God's will be done!!!
