Hello everyone ... It has been forever since Ive posted .. So much has happen over the last few months ... I am now 14 months post op and doing wonderful .I have lost 140 lb and have about 60 more before I hit my goal ... 14 months ago losing 140 lb wasnt even imaginable . I also have a newborn son that was born June 2 at 9:20 am weighing 6lb 14 oz and 20 in long . He was healthy .. I was so worried my whole pregnancy due to my surgery and me losing so much weight during . I only gained about 10 lb the whole time . It was a more complacated pregnancy than before but there not sure if it was because of the surgery or just me being older .. But overall we are both heatly and now were on the road to a happy healty futre ... I want to thank everyone once again for all your support ..Ill update more often ... good luck to all you newbies ..hugs all !!!

Well here it is , 6 months already , hard to believe and so much has happened . Ive lost 104 lb and feeling great . I have about 80 more to go . Im sure ill make it . I just found out Im 7 weeks pregnant . Which came at a very big surprise . I guess you take what you get . Were happy because before the surgery we tried for 3 years . I guess the weightloss helped . I tell my Dr. each time this wasnt planned so they dont think I did it on purpose . I would have rather lost 80 more lb and then had a baby . Well now it will just take me longer to lose . I wish all of you luck . Its been a rough 6 month but I would do it again In a heart beat !!!!

Kristina, Congrats on your 100 lb loss!! As far as your pregnancy goes, there are other women that have become pregnant after WLS. You will need to see a high risk OB/GYN and recieve close follow up. A normal pregnancy is possible. I hope that some of the other women read your post and respond to your question. Remeber that a pregnancy is a blessing and I hope that you and hubby find a way of dealing with everything successfully. KimmieTN
