Finally have finished with all the things asked of me by my surgeon..including a sleep study which was no fun at all! I had my last appt with my Nut this morning so now it's just up to the nurses to get all my info / reports together and to send it to the insurance. I have Tricare Prime and my surgeon's office said they were usually pretty quick with a decision. BUT they do have up to 30 days to decide. I guess I will start checking my authorizations online daily starting next week!!

I have been contemplating a gastric bypass for many years now...I think I have lost the same 50 pounds ten times or more in the last ten years..It always finds its way back with friends! I have a friend who went thru this 3 years ago so I will have someone who has been on the front line. I will be turning my paperwork into the surgeon's office tomorrow....SO SCARED!
